About the Role
Step into a pivotal position where you'll lead impactful technology projects enhancing how governments and regulatory bodies serve their communities. At Objective, our trusted software solutions support critical services across Australia and New Zealand. We are expanding our Wellington team and seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex SaaS and enterprise software implementations for key organisations in New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete delivery cycle of software and SaaS projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
- Oversee project planning, establish governance frameworks, manage risks, and forecast needs effectively.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progression.
- Coordinate efforts among consultants, technical teams, and customer personnel to drive project milestones.
- Guide projects from initial discovery through implementation, adoption, and formal handover stages.
- Ensure clients achieve tangible business benefits from their investment in Objective's software solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing software, technology, or SaaS implementation projects.
- Solid skills in project planning and commercial management.
- Background working directly with customers in consulting, professional services, or vendor settings.
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Competency with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK are advantageous.
- Confidence to effectively engage stakeholders across various organizational levels and balance competing priorities.
