Project Manager

About the Role

At Objective, our trusted software solutions support critical services across Australia and New Zealand. We are expanding our Wellington team and seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex SaaS and enterprise software implementations for key organisations in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete delivery cycle of software and SaaS projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
• Oversee project planning, establish governance frameworks, manage risks, and forecast needs effectively.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progression.
• Coordinate efforts among consultants, technical teams, and customer personnel to drive project milestones.
• Guide projects from initial discovery through implementation, adoption, and formal handover stages.
• Ensure clients achieve tangible business benefits from their investment in Objective's software solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing software, technology, or SaaS implementation projects.
• Solid skills in project planning and commercial management.
• Background working directly with customers in consulting, professional services, or vendor settings.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies and software development life cycles.
• Competency with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK are advantageous.
• Confidence to effectively engage stakeholders across various organizational levels and balance competing priorities.
