Role Overview

The Civil Engineer's role is vital for planning, supervising, executing, and documenting civil and structural construction operations. This position ensures compliance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, quality and safety standards, as well as adherence to the approved project schedule at the site level.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine IFC drawings, project specs, bills of quantities, and construction documents prior to initiating site activities.
• Provide support in supervising excavation, earthworks, concrete, masonry, structural, and finishing work according to approved plans and procedures.
• Coordinate daily site operations with supervisors, subcontractors, surveyors, QA/QC teams, and other engineering disciplines.
• Compile daily progress and site reports, maintain site records, perform quantity take-offs, and process material requests with technical documentation.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, materials usage, and site progress, promptly addressing any deviations from approved standards.
• Assist in handling inspection requests, technical queries, material approvals, and liaise with consultants and client representatives.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings, snag lists, handover documents, and project closing records.
• Adhere strictly to company quality, health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Saudi university.
• Open to fresh graduates with less than one year of professional experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of construction drawings, civil engineering concepts, and site execution processes.
• Basic familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC), ACI, ASTM, and other relevant construction standards is advantageous.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and basic AutoCAD skills; experience with Civil 3D or Revit is considered a plus.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, along with strong teamwork capabilities.
• Willing and able to work at various project sites throughout Saudi Arabia.
