Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor for the night shift at our Galway site on a defined-term basis. This role involves overseeing personnel planning, training, and managing materials and processes to ensure efficient production and quality compliance. You will play a key role in upholding quality standards, promoting team engagement, and collaborating cross-functionally to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage administrative functions including Time and Attendance systems, holiday and travel planning, build plan reviews, and backorder evaluations.
• Proactively develop training programs to enhance team versatility, flexibility, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate effectively with other manufacturing teams across different shifts and departments.
• Ensure GMP compliance and maintain high housekeeping standards through active team involvement.
• Create and sustain comprehensive production plans covering hiring, capacity modeling, efficiency metrics, learning curves, and ramp rates.
• Coordinate cross-functional support from QA, materials, information systems, and HR to optimize team performance.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of GMP and FDA regulatory standards, health and safety, and maintain these vigorously.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal support groups and foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds a Major Award (Level 8) or an equivalent qualification in a related field relevant to production supervision.
• Minimum five years' experience in the manufacturing industry with significant leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record in managing, motivating, and organizing teams effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strict adherence to operational procedures.
