Product Owner

Overview

This remote role, based in Saudi Arabia, seeks a Product Owner to translate high-level product strategies into precise initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes. The position involves guiding product development from conception through execution within a dynamic, cross-functional, and agile setting that includes teams in Engineering, Design, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, and Project management. The focus is on fintech, payments, and digital assets sectors, balancing compliance, user demands, and business priorities to drive product success and growth.

Core Responsibilities

• Break down broad product strategies and roadmaps into clearly defined epics, requirements, and actionable tasks for product and engineering teams.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of business goals, user needs, market context, and regulatory conditions behind each initiative.
• Manage and continuously reprioritize the product backlog, eliminating low-value work to concentrate efforts on high-impact initiatives.
• Oversee execution timelines from planning to completion, proactively identifying risks and blockers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Analyze business and product data, user journeys, edge cases, and product requirements to uncover opportunities and address challenges effectively.
• Draft clear documentation including requirements, user flows, and acceptance criteria to translate objectives into deployable solutions.
• Validate delivered features to confirm they solve the intended problems and align with expected user and business results.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on objectives, priorities, and delivery plans.
• Act as the main point of contact for product scope, priorities, status updates, trade-off decisions, and key deliverables.
• Provide clear and structured updates to executives and stakeholders regarding progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role, preferably within fintech, cryptocurrency, payments, or related industries.
• Strong domain expertise in crypto-related products such as wallets, on/off-ramps, crypto cards, and trading platforms.
• Proven business analysis skills including requirements gathering, product discovery, user-flow analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of SQL or familiarity with business intelligence tools is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational and execution capabilities to translate broad goals into actionable, measurable plans.
• Expertise in prioritization with the confidence to challenge project scope based on business and user impact considerations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to product details, including edge cases and dependencies.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to compose clear requirements and engage with varied stakeholders effectively.
• High ownership, accountability, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced product environment.
