Product Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Designer to bridge the gap between field workers, office personnel, and product functionalities within a rapidly expanding SaaS platform used globally by field professionals. This position emphasizes hands-on, research-driven design, requiring the candidate to conduct independent onsite interviews, rapidly synthesize insights using AI tools, and develop user journeys accommodating multiple personas, rather than merely executing UI requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Autonomously identify problems, secure approvals, and organize and conduct onsite research sessions.
• Analyze and filter insights from diverse user personas, leveraging AI technologies to validate hypotheses and expedite synthesis.
• Create rapid prototypes by coding initial interaction models to test concepts, followed by refinement in design software.
• Collaborate daily within a cross-functional team consisting of product owners, lead engineers, quality assurance, sales, and marketing, while engaging with the broader design team for professional growth and quality assurance.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 6 years of experience working with digital products.
• Proactive involvement of stakeholders early in the design process, openly sharing work-in-progress for feedback.
• Autonomous management of research activities without reliance on pre-obtained field data.
• Proficiency in integrating AI tools within the workflow for research synthesis, prototyping, and iterative exploration, valuing overall adaptability over specific delivered features.
• Ability to prioritize and present a single strong solution rather than multiple options.
• Additional advantages include experience dealing with conflicting user personas, managing design systems, and delivering coded prototypes using emerging tools.

Additional Details and Benefits

• This is a remote-first role available to candidates living anywhere in Germany.
• Occasional travel is required, approximately 1 to 2 days per month for design sessions, headquarters visits, and user research.
