Role Overview
The Product Design Engineer will contribute to advancing Castomize's medical device portfolio by employing unique design approaches, specialized materials, and additive manufacturing technologies. Key responsibilities include using 3D modeling software and 3D printing to create iterative prototypes and guide product commercialization. The role requires close collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, participation in design reviews, and optimization of products for performance and manufacturability. This full-time position is based in Singapore, with some flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in design engineering and product design, emphasizing innovative and practical solutions.
- Strong foundation in product engineering, industrial design principles, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and 3D modeling tasks.
- Experience spanning all phases of product development, from conceptualization through production.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or closely related discipline.
