Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the produce department’s cleanliness and organization to present an inviting appearance to customers at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired or unsatisfactory products to assure freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure all produce items are correctly priced with clear signage, following guidelines regarding orders, discounts, and markings.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain protocols, including temperature monitoring and correct handling to comply with sell-by and expiration dates.
• Restock and remove stock as necessary, apply product protection measures when needed, and arrange display fixtures such as flex modulars and shelf caps to maintain full shelves.
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure and tidy work environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by accepting shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate, aiding smooth store operations and consistent customer service quality.
• Handle high workloads in a fast-moving environment, effectively managing overnight hours to maintain energy and focus while completing restocking and recovery tasks accurately and punctually.
• Perform physical activities including prolonged standing, bending, and lifting weights up to 20 lbs routinely, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Carry out repetitive duties like stocking and zoning with precision to meet store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $15.80.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement: Must be 16 years or older.
