Pre-Sales Consultant - SAP Testing

Join a dynamic, AI-driven enterprise that specializes in codeless test automation across web, mobile, API, and SAP platforms. We are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant specializing in SAP Testing, who brings strong SAP techno-functional knowledge combined with customer-facing solution delivery prowess. This role bridges SAP transformation consulting, testing strategy, solution engineering, demo presentations, and the advancement of enterprise sales engagements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, Fiori/UI5, and related integrations.
• Understand and analyze SAP business modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, EWM, HR for testing challenges.
• Identify gaps in current testing processes including manual efforts, automation scope, regression cycle coverage, and cross-module dependencies.
• Design comprehensive test strategies for SAP migration projects, covering greenfield, brownfield, and selective transitions.
• Architect testing approaches for RISE with SAP, Fiori modernization, and continuous SAP operations.
• Develop structured test plans, including business process mapping, regression suite prioritization, impact-based and risk-based testing methodologies.
• Create and deliver tailored demos on SAP testing workflows involving UI5/Fiori, OData services, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, IDocs, CPI, and PI/PO integrations.
• Explain the advantages of modern automated SAP testing in reducing risks, expediting cycles, and ensuring upgrade readiness.
• Prepare high-quality technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation including architectural diagrams and effort estimation.
• Collaborate with sales teams to build compelling SAP testing narratives and engage diverse stakeholders through workshops and proof of concept (PoC) executions.
• Address technical objections and build customer confidence in the proposed testing solutions and methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP functional consulting, ABAP leadership, project delivery, or techno-functional roles.
• In-depth exposure to SAP projects encompassing implementation, migration (greenfield, brownfield, selective), consulting, and delivery.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA transformation and RISE with SAP architectures.
• Experience working with SAP functional modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, EWM, HR.
• Proven participation in at least one major S/4HANA or RISE transformation initiative.
• Strong communication skills, executive presence, and proficiency in crafting and delivering impactful demos and solution narratives.

Preferred Experience

• Prior roles in pre-sales, solution engineering, SAP QA consulting, or advisory capacities.
• Hands-on leadership in SAP implementation projects specifically in FI, SD, or MM domains.
• Exposure to SAP test automation technologies, regression testing, and advanced structured testing frameworks.
• Experience modernizing traditional SAP testing practices to automated frameworks.
• Involvement in creating proposals, handling RFPs, conducting workshops, PoCs, and guiding enterprise sales cycles.

Key Skills and Technologies

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA migration testing.
• Understanding of RISE with SAP architecture and testing challenges.
• Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori testing and SAP integration technologies including OData, RFC, BAPI, IDoc, CPI, and PI/PO.
• Competency in test case design, data services, execution planning, regression suites, and risk-based testing.
• Strong analytical skills for business process coverage and cross-module dependency analysis.
• Ability to craft customer-centric solution architectures and technical storytelling.

Additional Information

This position is based in Bengaluru, India. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver technically sound and commercially effective SAP testing solutions. The role requires running proof-of-concept demonstrations aligned with client SAP environments and managing technical queries effectively to facilitate deal progression.
