Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Plumber to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing and sanitary systems. The role involves installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing various water supply lines, drainage systems, valves, pumps, and plumbing fixtures to ensure smooth operation across the premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all plumbing and sanitary installations.
- Handle installation, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of water supply lines, drainage networks, pipes, valves, pumps, and related plumbing fixtures.
- Address and resolve guest plumbing-related complaints such as issues with water supply, drainage, and leakages.
- Maintain plumbing fixtures including bathrooms, toilets, faucets, washbasins, showers, water heaters, and sanitary equipment.
- Inspect and service water pumps, sewage systems, and drainage to ensure optimum functionality.
- Oversee water tanks and other plumbing devices to guarantee proper working conditions.
- Keep accurate daily records of maintenance activities and plumbing service logs.
- Adhere to safety protocols, hotel operational procedures, and statutory regulations relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Collaborate with the Engineering department and outside contractors for plumbing repairs and new installations.
- Be responsive to emergency situations, such as sudden plumbing breakdowns or water leak issues.
Working Conditions
- Work scheduled in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Perform duties in various environments, including guest rooms, public areas, plant rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces.
- Be on-call to attend emergency plumbing repair needs.
Key Performance Indicators
- Completion rate of preventive maintenance tasks.
- Timeliness in responding to plumbing breakdowns.
- Efficiency in resolving guest complaints related to plumbing.
- Reduction in water leakage incidents.
- Operational uptime of plumbing equipment and systems.
