Job description
Job Summary
The Plant Protection Guard is tasked with safeguarding the company's facilities, employees, visitors, and assets. This role includes monitoring premises, managing access points, responding to emergencies, and ensuring adherence to the company's security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Control facility access by verifying IDs of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Ensure visitors sign in correctly and are accompanied by authorized personnel at all times.
- Enforce visitor policies, including mandatory high-visibility vests and appropriate escorting.
- Prevent unauthorized entry to restricted zones within the facility.
- Conduct regular patrols around the property including perimeter, parking areas, warehouses, and other critical sites to detect suspicious behavior.
- Secure all doors, windows, and gates post-business hours.
- Protect company property such as raw materials, finished goods, and equipment against theft, vandalism, and risks.
- Confirm all outgoing products are documented and authorized properly.
- Inspect vehicles and personnel to prevent unauthorized removal of assets.
- Uphold company security policies consistently.
- Ensure compliance with safety measures including wearing appropriate PPE among staff and visitors.
- Address breaches like unauthorized access, theft, or unsafe actions promptly.
- Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents following established procedures.
- Report suspicious activities or risks immediately to the Security Supervisor.
- Assist during emergencies such as evacuations, medical events, or fire alarms per established plans.
- Maintain thorough incident documentation and timely submission of reports to supervisors.
- Keep detailed records including visitor logs, patrol activities, and incident reports diligently.
- Conduct product pallet counts during inspections to ensure accuracy and prevent losses.
- Offer professional and courteous assistance at entry points, greeting and guiding employees and visitors effectively.
- Handle complaints or concerns calmly and professionally.

- Analytical mindset with quick decision-making capabilities.
- High attention to detail and excellent observation skills.
- Remain composed under pressure.
- Dedicated to safety awareness at all operational levels.
- Minimum education requirement: Senior High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred but not mandatory.
