Role Overview

The Planning Engineer role requires 4-5 years of relevant experience. The engineer will manage vendor capacity planning, production scheduling, progress monitoring, risk management and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Reporting on order progress and performance is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan vendor workloads based on customer requirements and monthly manufacturing capacity.
• Coordinate production schedules to guarantee timely delivery of free-of-charge (FOC) materials by liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Track product readiness in line with targeted dates and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Identify potential risks in order completion and proactively mitigate them.
• Collaborate with quality control, logistics, procurement, planning, dispatch, and order management teams for smooth customer delivery management.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on order status, progress, and performance metrics.
• Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to enhance on-time delivery rates.
• Manage changes in customer orders effectively.
