Planner / Scheduler - Data Centres (US Relocations from Australia)

Overview

A premier international real estate consultancy is seeking a seasoned Planner/Scheduler to contribute to the execution of hyperscale data centre projects for a leading global technology client across various locations in the United States. The ideal candidate will possess robust experience in project scheduling, adeptness in handling intricate timelines, and the ability to thrive in dynamic and mission-critical settings. Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed construction timelines for extensive data centre developments.
• Facilitate coordination among design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure cohesive planning efforts.
• Monitor project progression, update schedules, analyze critical path elements, and predict completion milestones.
• Detect potential risks and delays, implementing mitigation strategies to sustain project schedules.
• Evaluate contractor schedules to ensure consistency with overall project goals.
• Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators for internal use and client communication.
• Enforce strict planning governance, maintain documentation standards, and oversee change control protocols.

Requirements

• Between five and ten years of experience as a Planner, Scheduler, or within Project Controls on complex construction or infrastructure endeavors.
• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related field.
• High proficiency in using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong analytical skills paired with excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to independently manage planning responsibilities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Readiness and eligibility to relocate to the United States with visa sponsorship assistance.
