About The Role
Join Bournemouth University's Employability & Skills Service as a Placement Compliance Officer, where you'll oversee placement administration to support and enhance student experiences. This part-time position focuses on managing placement approvals and ensuring compliance with university policies, safeguarding practices, health and safety standards, and the UKVI regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage placement approval processes and conduct due diligence checks.
- Monitor UKVI placement compliance and generate related reports.
- Handle DBS processing and ensure safeguarding compliance.
- Address placement-related enquiries and maintain effective communication with students, staff, and external partners.
- Maintain accurate records and placement resources.
- Support placement allocations and related operational administration.
- Contribute to student-facing events and offer drop-in support sessions.
Requirements
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Attention to detail while managing complex processes.
- Confident communication with diverse stakeholders including students, staff, and external organizations.
- Ability to interpret and apply various policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Independently motivated yet collaborates well within a team setting.
- Experience in higher education, student services, compliance, administration, or employability sectors is preferred.

This role does not meet UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship criteria. Only current Bournemouth University staff and agency employees are eligible to apply.
