About the Role

Arnold Clark is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Pitch Valeter for their Motorstore located in Burton. The key responsibility is to ensure all vehicles are presented impeccably both inside and out, providing a high standard of cleanliness and polish. This role suits someone who enjoys an active, physical job, pays close attention to detail, and works well within a team.

Responsibilities

Wash sold and stock vehicles externally using high-powered pressure washers
Clean interiors thoroughly with high-powered vacuums and shampoo equipment
Operate polishing and buffing machines to enhance vehicle bodywork appearance
Maintain strict adherence to health and safety guidelines while handling chemicals
Ensure equipment and machinery are securely maintained and report any defects following PPE and manufacturer instructions
Meet set timeframes and performance targets
Use online diary systems to manage the vehicle cleaning schedule
Keep accurate daily logs of all completed work
Assist with other branch duties as necessary

Qualifications and Skills

Possession of a full UK driving licence
Basic computer literacy
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Capacity to multitask efficiently
Motivation to engage in training opportunities

Previous valet experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as training and development are provided including attendance at the Arnold Clark Valet Academy for all new hires.

Working hours are full-time: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and alternate Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
