Role Overview

The position of Personal Security Officer is a full-time role based on campus. The officer's primary responsibility involves safeguarding designated university personnel during their movements within the campus and, occasionally, to off-site locations. Duties include vigilant monitoring of surroundings, identifying possible threats, escorting individuals safely, liaising with campus security and administration, maintaining controlled access to restricted areas, reacting calmly to emergencies, and keeping detailed records of security-related incidents.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess an All India Gun License.
• Must own a personal firearm.
• Physical fitness, stamina, and quick response capability in emergencies are essential.
• Understanding of fundamental security processes, access control, and incident documentation.
• Previous experience in security services, law enforcement, or the military is preferred.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; additional security certifications are a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
• Exemplary integrity, dependability, and respect for confidentiality.
