Role Overview
The Performance Engineer will hold full responsibility for the network performance across all technologies on modernized or swapped sites. This includes reviewing vendor-submitted Single Site Verification (SSV) reports as part of site acceptance and ensuring that EPOCA KPIs are achieved during Cluster drive reports. Additionally, the role requires preparing both regulatory and corporate Network Performance reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain KPI tracking tools for all radio network elements.
- Implement best practices and features in the network according to the Early Warning List (EWL).
- Manage end-to-end network incidents, including outages and KPI degradations, with comprehensive root cause analyses.
- Identify and address gaps from project teams concerning network quality and guarantee consistent reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver targeted network quality levels.
- Review Single Site Verification (SSV) reports provided by vendors during site acceptance.
- Conduct audits of RAN parameters and reconcile KPI performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- At least 3 years of relevant professional or industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and logical reasoning skills applied to key performance indicators.
- Proficient programming capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with regulatory bodies such as TCRA and suppliers.
- Proactive fault detection abilities.
- Capability to manage customer complaints effectively.
- Willingness to challenge existing norms and improve current processes.
- Analytical mindset paired with solid business insight.
- Experience or knowledge in cloud computing and big data technologies is advantageous.
- Project management experience is considered beneficial.
