Role Overview

We are actively seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our nationwide Payroll Team within People & Culture Operations for a fixed term of 24 months. Choose your preferred work location among Essen, Mülheim, Mandern, Ennepetal, Schönebeck, Ilsenburg, or Chemnitz.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly payroll processing, handling all aspects such as working hours, absences, additional payments, and one-time bonuses to ensure accuracy and punctuality.
  • Oversee tax and social insurance tasks, including submitting reports to health insurance providers, tax offices, and conducting necessary audits.
  • Handle benefits and related HR affairs such as JobBike, company cars, occupational pension schemes, and other special cases with correct tax valuation.
  • Maintain and organize time management by updating master data, resolving special cases, and ensuring compliance with collective agreements and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing reports for monthly and annual financial closings.
  • Contribute proactively to projects concerning payroll and time management processes, collaborating closely with the nationwide team.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed commercial vocational training.
  • Basic experience in payroll accounting and understanding of tax and social security law, with a desire to expand expertise.
