Role Overview
Become a vital part of Symbos as a Payroll Officer, ensuring timely and accurate payment for employees across Australia. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager, supporting payroll activities within a complex, multi-jurisdiction landscape in a growing international company.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise and compliant payroll processing for an expanding workforce.
- Uphold robust payroll controls, governance, and maintain data integrity.
- Assist in meeting payroll compliance, statutory duties, and reporting obligations.
- Develop reliable partnerships with stakeholders in Finance, People & Culture, and leadership teams.
- Drive improvements in payroll procedures, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Address payroll queries with professionalism, accuracy, and promptness.
- Support activities related to reconciliations, reporting, and audit preparations.
Candidate Profile
- Comprehensive experience managing end-to-end Australian payroll operations in complex settings.
- In-depth understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency with payroll software systems, HR Information Systems, and reporting tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective stakeholder communication and strong relationship management skills.
- Analytical thinker with a passion for continuous process improvement.
- Competence in prioritizing tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
