About the Role
Join Converge Medical Technology as a Patient Services Specialist and play a vital role connecting patients—particularly veterans and injured workers—to life-enhancing care. Key Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage and medical documentation to submit pre-authorization requests to adjustors, including processing prior authorizations, appeals, and prescription insurance updates.
- Act as a point of contact handling numerous inbound and outbound communications with insurance providers, patients, sales staff, and the patient care coordination team.
- Use Salesforce and internal systems to efficiently complete daily operations following established protocols, and supply sales representatives with accurate, payer-specific coverage guidelines.
- Investigate referral information using available resources to support case updates and escalate urgent or complex matters to the Intake Manager to ensure quick resolution.
- Carry out additional assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in patient intake involving insurance verification.
- Between 1 and 2 years of prior authorization experience within clinical settings.
- Experience managing Workers’ Compensation claims.

- Work Location: Remote, based in Atlanta, GA area.
- Pay Range: $22 to $26 per hour.
