Role Overview
This is an opportunity for a motivated Salesperson / Parts Interpreter to join a friendly and experienced team in Echuca, Victoria. The position suits someone who enjoys working in a busy, practical environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service to customers.
You will support a loyal customer base while working alongside a skilled team that is enthusiastic about the industry. Candidates with previous auto parts experience are welcome, but a strong interest in learning the trade is also valued, with training and support provided.
Core Duties
- Handle sales enquiries through phone and online channels.
- Provide customer support and service in the store.
- Receive and put away incoming stock.
- Process purchase orders and pick items for order fulfilment.
- Manage showroom presentation, including merchandising, pricing, and upkeep.
Desired Background
- Strong verbal and written communication ability.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service.
- Experience in auto parts, or a clear interest in building knowledge in this field.
- Professional presentation.
- Confident and friendly phone manner.
- Capability to persuade, influence, and negotiate.
- Skill in explaining technical issues in simple, practical terms.
