Painter (Offshore)

Role overview

This offshore position is suited to a painter who can handle surface preparation, painting, cleaning, and related support duties in a marine or oil and gas environment. The role also includes assistance with helideck and wellhead operations, along with maintaining site housekeeping and safety readiness.

What you will do

• Carry out painting, cleaning, and washing tasks on assigned surfaces and equipment.
• Safely manage, store, and handle paints, tools, and other materials used for the job.
• Prepare the list of materials and tools needed for painting, lining, cleaning, and scaffolding work.
• Complete painting, set-up, and related arrangements according to approved specifications or supervisor instructions.
• Check finished work to confirm that the required quality level has been achieved.
• Support the Helicopter Landing Officer during passenger boarding and disembarkation to help ensure safe helicopter arrival and departure.
• Work as a Helideck Assistant during helicopter movements while strictly following all safety procedures.
• Keep safety equipment ready and maintain compliance with helideck safety standards.
• Assist the Wellhead Operator with routine tasks and help keep the work area clean and orderly.

Requirements

• High School education or higher.
• More than 5 years of experience, preferably within the oil and gas sector.

• Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
• Salary: AED 3,000.
• Rotation pattern: 90/30.
