Packaging Designer

About the Role

Nykaa is seeking a highly creative and meticulous Packaging Designer to join their Beauty Own Brands team located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This on-site role involves developing premium, innovative packaging solutions that align with contemporary trends and enhance brand storytelling to captivate consumers across beauty and personal care product categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and produce innovative, visually appealing, and functional packaging designs for Nykaa's product range.
• Create engaging graphic content tailored for social media channels, consistent with Nykaa's brand image and tone.
• Design creative assets for various marketing campaigns, including email templates, banners, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Develop logos for new products and sub-brands to ensure a unified visual identity.
• Design graphics for in-store retail displays, signage, and promotional setups to enhance customer experience.
• Offer art direction and creative guidance for photoshoots, video productions, and other multimedia projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, or related discipline.
• 2 to 6 years of professional experience in graphic design, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in packaging, branding, typography, and visual systems.
• Excellent aesthetic judgement, particularly in typography, layout, color theory, and material application.
• Advanced skills with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience with luxury, beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or FMCG brands is advantageous.
• Proven ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
