Role Overview
This position is for a CCM Pulpit Operator in a steel manufacturing environment based in Abu Dhabi. The role is intended for a government client and will be handled as a direct hire.
Core Purpose
The operator will be responsible for managing, completing, and maintaining CCM Pulpit operations for a steel making plant, ensuring the control room activities run smoothly and according to production needs.
Experience Required
The employer is looking for someone with roughly 3 to 5 years of experience working in a steel plant as a control room pulpit operator. The stated minimum experience is 3+ years.
Education
Applicants should have completed Higher Secondary School or ITI.
Working Pattern
The role requires a 6-day work week.
Responsibilities
- Perform the duties assigned by the supervisor in line with production needs for the CCM Pulpit Operator role.
- Make sure the machinery, consumables, and tools needed for uninterrupted ladle furnace operations are available in sufficient quantity.
- Set and maintain process parameters at the CCM Pulpit operator workstation according to process sheets or the supervisor’s instructions.
- Report any abnormalities noticed at the CCM Pulpit during work execution to the supervisor and request direction when needed.
