Role overview
We are hiring for a global technology leader in the semiconductor sector, seeking an Operational Logistic Specialist for the Böblingen site in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Core responsibilities
- Coordinate service providers handling transport and warehouse operations.
- Oversee the detailed processing steps for transportation and storage activities.
- Carry out regular stock checks and put inventory control measures into practice.
- Manage and align the planning of outbound dispatches.
- Prepare financial accruals and check supplier invoices for accuracy.
Candidate profile
The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, or a qualification as a freight forwarding and logistics services specialist, together with relevant professional experience.
You should bring 2–3 years of hands-on experience in operational logistics or material planning within a manufacturing or trading environment, particularly across goods receipt, warehousing, and shipping.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Navision is expected.
Strong personal qualities are important too: a structured way of working, confidence in teamwork, experience in cross-functional international environments, clear written and spoken communication in both English and German at minimum B2 level, persistence, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and stay organized.
Additional advantage is prior logistics experience in high-tech, automotive, or mechanical engineering settings.
