Overview
Logic Planet IT Services, a global leader in IT consulting and technology services with a workforce exceeding 10,000 employees worldwide, is looking for an experienced OpenText AppWorks (BPM) Developer and Support Analyst. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting workflow-centric enterprise applications, with a particular focus on financial process automation such as Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Accruals workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using OpenText AppWorks Process Suite/BPM tools.
- Deliver ongoing support and enhancements for finance-related workflow systems.
- Design and implement workflows involving Accounts Receivable, Billing procedures, and Accrual calculations and approvals.
- Integrate applications and services through REST and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.
- Identify and resolve issues in production environments through debugging and troubleshooting.
- Optimize application performance through tuning and improvements.
- Engage with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather and clarify application requirements.
- Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing, application deployments, and production support activities.
- Work with databases such as Oracle or SQL Server for data validation and effective application support.
- Collaborate on integration efforts with enterprise financial applications including SAP Finance and Oracle Financials as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Over 4 years' hands-on experience with OpenText AppWorks, OpenText Process Suite, or OpenText BPM platforms.
- Solid expertise in BPMN and workflow design principles.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services integration.
- Basic ability to customize user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong command of SQL, specifically with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
- Experience in debugging techniques, issue analysis, and supporting production environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of workflow-oriented enterprise applications.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP Finance or Oracle Financials systems.
- Experience with OpenText Content Server or other document management platforms.
- Insight into financial and accounting business processes.
Functional Knowledge
- Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes.
- Understanding of the billing lifecycle.
- Familiarity with accrual accounting practices.
- Knowledge of financial approval workflows.
