About the Role
MBCC Foods Ireland Ltd, operating Costa Coffee franchises across Ireland and Northern Ireland, including over 150 stores and 11 KFC outlets, is looking to hire a full-time, permanent Office & HR Administrator for their Eastgate Retail Park location in Little Island, Cork. This role reports to the HR Co-Ordinator and Head of HR, playing a key part in supporting both the business operations and the HR department.
This position is ideal for administrative professionals or HR graduates aiming to launch their careers while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role requires being onsite five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support across HR functions and business activities.
- Monitor employee sick certifications for short and long-term absences.
- Process maternity leave applications timely and accurately.
- Generate and distribute employee letters as requested.
- Prepare and issue onboarding packs to new hires.
- Create and manage promotional contracts.
- Handle incoming phone communications, directing queries appropriately.
- Liaise effectively with various service providers.
- Manage and distribute company gift cards upon request.
- Complete social welfare forms as necessary.
- Coordinate equipment issuance to stores when requested.
- Assist the HR team with miscellaneous tasks and queries.
- Attend meetings, produce precise minutes, and prepare official correspondence.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in office administration, preferably in a professional services environment.
- High attention to detail with an organized approach.
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills adaptable to a fast-moving work environment.
- Confidence in decision-making and efficient organizational capabilities.
Additional Information
- Onsite working required five days per week.
- Working hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
- The contract is permanent.
