About The Role
Leverage your clinical nursing experience beyond traditional settings by joining Alignerr as a Nursing Informatics Specialist. This position focuses on enhancing AI systems trained on healthcare and clinical data by using your firsthand knowledge of nursing practice, electronic health records (EHR), and patient care workflows. This unique role combines practical nursing expertise with advanced artificial intelligence training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess AI-generated clinical content to ensure it is accurate, safe, and consistent with nursing workflows in real-life practice.
- Analyze how AI systems interpret EHR documentation, clinical protocols, and patient data.
- Detect and report inaccuracies, omissions, or potentially unsafe outputs in AI responses related to healthcare informatics.
- Deliver detailed, expert feedback to help refine AI models to better represent authentic nursing processes.
- Convert clinical knowledge into clear, practical recommendations for the AI training team.
- Work autonomously on tasks, managing your schedule and workload independently.
Candidate Profile
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical qualification.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of clinical documentation and nursing informatics principles.
- Strong analytical abilities to identify missing or incorrect clinical details within AI outputs.
- Effective written communication skills to clearly articulate clinical reasoning.
- Motivated self-starter capable of working independently on task-based assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience in clinical informatics, health IT, or related roles.
- Familiarity with data annotation, quality assurance, or AI evaluation protocols.
- Background in quality improvement projects, clinical auditing, or outcome measurement.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, or SNOMED.
