Nightshift Pallet Repairer

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable individuals to fill the role of Pallet Repairer during a permanent nightshift schedule in a safety-driven manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for those with backgrounds in production, manufacturing, warehousing, or factory work who enjoy practical tasks involving hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections on pallets to detect damage or loose battens
• Operate hydraulic lifting machinery to safely remove damaged wooden parts
• Utilize pneumatic nail guns to attach replacement battens securely
• Use hydraulic devices to rotate pallets for comprehensive inspections
• Meet production goals while adhering to safety guidelines

Role Requirements

• Prior experience in manufacturing, production, factory, or warehousing roles
• Strong work ethic with the ability to remain motivated in repetitive tasks
• Commitment to maintaining workplace safety and quality standards
• Practical knowledge of hand and power tools, especially angle grinders and pneumatic nail guns
• Ability to stand for long durations, lean, push pallets, and perform repetitive motions continuously during shifts

Compensation and Schedule

• Nightshift pay rate of $46.38 per hour, inclusive of base pay, nightshift, and casual loadings
• Consistent Sunday to Thursday night roster offering stable work hours
