Role Overview
The MOT Tester will play an essential role in ensuring customer vehicles meet safety and operational standards. This position involves collaboration with a motivated and skilled team and exposure to a diverse range of car makes and models, including the latest automotive technology.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT inspections adhering to DVSA regulations
- Detect and document vehicle defects and failures accurately
- Stay informed on current MOT testing procedures and best practices
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate inspection records
- Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical advice as needed
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance, minimum Level 2 (Level 3 preferred)
- Proven experience and skills in MOT testing
- Possession of DVSA Tester Certification
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Full valid UK driving license
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work
