Position Overview
Join our team as a Mobile Cleaner II and play a key role in ensuring our commercial and industrial facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming. This role combines routine cleaning duties, specialized cleaning tasks, and general facility support across various locations. Primary Duties
- Perform regular cleaning and hygiene upkeep in assigned facilities including offices, common spaces, and meeting rooms.
- Vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, and sanitize washrooms, restocking necessary supplies.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling collection.
- Maintain cleanliness of interior glass surfaces and entrance areas; perform outdoor litter pick-up.
- Conduct specialized cleaning such as deep carpet and upholstery cleaning using equipment like auto scrubbers and carpet extractors.
- Maintain and restore hard floor surfaces through stripping, polishing, and refinishing.
- Support exterior upkeep through pressure washing and removal of snow and ice hazards.
- Respond to emergency cleaning needs including spills, leaks, flooding, and contamination.
- Carry out quality inspections, document work with reports and photos, and note maintenance issues.
- Assist with installation and upkeep of washroom dispensers and related equipment.
- Transport cleaning supplies and equipment between locations maintaining safety policies.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years’ experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional cleaning roles.
- Proficiency operating professional cleaning machinery and knowledge of relevant cleaning techniques.
- Awareness of WHMIS standards and workplace safety protocols.
- Self-reliant, dependable, organized, and detail-focused work ethic.
- Effective communicator with strong customer service orientation.
- Comfortable utilizing digital devices such as smartphones and tablets for reporting.
- Positive mindset with a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Team-oriented attitude, taking pride in quality and consistency of work.
Physical & Workplace Requirements
- Availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, and nights as needed.
- Willingness to be on-call and handle emergency response cleaning duties.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds routinely.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and repetitive motions required.
- Regular travel between multiple client sites within the assigned area.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Adherence to personal protective equipment requirements for safety.

Compensation
This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $46,476 to $52,000 CAD. Salary is determined based on candidate experience, education, and performance.
