Merchandiser

Role overview

Hyve is hiring a Merchandiser to strengthen its merchandising operations in Tiruppur. The role calls for someone who is proactive, precise, and comfortable working across teams and vendors to help orders move smoothly from development to delivery.

This position is suited to candidates with 2–3 years of experience, while also being a strong opportunity for fresh graduates who want to begin a career in merchandising.

What you will do

• Help manage product development activities and sampling follow-ups.
• Communicate with vendors and track responses and next steps.
• Keep an eye on order progress and support on-time shipment execution.
• Update and organize purchase orders, records, and related paperwork.
• Work with production, quality, and logistics teams to keep coordination on track.
• Compile updates and reports on stock movement, sales, and order status.
• Assist with price checks and preparation of cost sheets.
• Support market study and trend tracking activities.

What we are looking for

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textile, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A background of 2–3 years in a relevant role is preferred.

Applicants should be familiar with basic MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong verbal communication, coordination, organization, and time management skills are important for success in this role.

• Exposure to fabric categories and garment production is an advantage, especially for apparel work.
