About the Role
Barden is pleased to assist a global leader in engineering and manufacturing to find a Manufacturing Manager. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position holds a pivotal leadership role within a top manufacturing organization. The Manufacturing Manager is accountable for ensuring timely, superior-quality production output while enhancing efficiency via strategic resource planning, lean manufacturing principles, and effective process management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise all manufacturing activities ensuring safety, punctuality, and adherence to premium quality benchmarks.
- Enhance operational performance through optimal allocation of personnel, machinery, and resources aligned with organizational requirements.
- Promote and uphold a robust culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations and leading investigations as needed.
- Work closely with the Quality department to preserve standards and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Develop and lead a high-achieving workforce by providing coaching, education, and performance evaluations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements aimed at boosting productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Engage cross-functionally to troubleshoot production issues and guarantee smooth operations across departments.
Candidate Profile
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in Engineering or related discipline; not mandatory.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing settings.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Experienced in capacity planning concerning labor force and machinery utilization.
- Demonstrated skills in leading, coaching, and motivating teams to achieve high-quality results, improve key performance indicators, and enhance profitability.
- Background in managing operations within high-volume manufacturing environments.
