Role Overview
This position involves managing store operations including stock control, reconciliation, and reporting, along with administrative oversight and ensuring smooth site office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage store activities including preparation of inward and outward stock transfer notes and reports.
- Generate debit and credit note reports monthly, including stock transfer notes and reconciliation reports for interstitial materials and assets.
- Prepare monthly, physical stock, and consumption reports, including those related to machinery and H.S.D consumption.
- Conduct accounts and stock reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Attend to industrial relations matters by resolving grievances and conflicts effectively.
- Maintain organized, systems-oriented, and detail-focused operational processes.
- Effectively communicate across all organizational levels in English.
- Ensure self-motivation, honesty, integrity, courteous behavior, and helpfulness are demonstrated consistently.
- Prioritize and act efficiently under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
- Work overtime as required to fulfill role responsibilities.
- Manage time and resources effectively exhibiting strong leadership, negotiation, interpersonal, and mediation skills with a positive outlook.
- Exhibit cultural awareness, uphold ethics, and apply problem-solving skills.
- Oversee upkeep and maintenance of site offices, labour colonies, and guest houses, resolving complaints within 48 hours.
- Ensure availability and maintenance of utilities including lighting, water, telecommunications, email, fax, and computing facilities.
- Maintain guest houses in good condition and ensure hygienic, quality food for employees and guests.
- Maintain cordial relationships with electricity board, local administration, and telecom authorities to garner support when needed.
- Manage transport facilities, including pool cars and employee commuting arrangements, ensuring timely availability.
- Handle repair and maintenance of Diesel Generators at guest houses.
- Effectively set up and manage all site offices, guest houses, and labour colonies across all sites.
- Coordinate transit accommodations, travel, and ticketing for personnel visiting various sites.
- Organize stationary, printing, Xerox, and ancillary administrative support.
- Manage canteen, pantry, and hospitality services at site locations.
