Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of ESG and sustainability strategies, governance models, and execution plans.
  • Perform ESG evaluations including benchmarking, materiality studies, and gap analysis to assist clients.
  • Offer expert advice on ESG risks, opportunities, regulatory compliance, and incorporate industry-leading practices.
  • Advise organizations on embedding ESG factors within their operational decisions.
  • Oversee sustainability reporting projects aligned with established frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, and CSRD/ESRS.
  • Design ESG disclosure approaches and readiness assessments for reporting.
  • Set up ESG data governance systems, KPIs, and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate stakeholder involvement and verify data quality for disclosures.
  • Assist in climate-related risk evaluations and develop decarbonization and transition strategies.
  • Monitor ESG performance metrics and suggest continuous improvements.
  • Oversee multiple consulting projects from initiation through delivery, including workshops and executive presentations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams ensuring top-quality outcomes; contribute to business growth and client relations.
  • Remain current on ESG regulations and industry developments; contribute to internal ESG frameworks and service enhancements.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster their professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, Public Policy, or related disciplines; Master’s preferred.
  • 8 to 10 years of professional experience in ESG, sustainability consulting, strategy development, or similar fields.
  • Track record in leading ESG strategies, materiality assessments, sustainability reporting, and implementation initiatives.
  • Proficient in managing client projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong skills in analysis, report writing, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi Green Initiative, and Public Investment Fund (PIF) ESG priorities is beneficial.
  • Exposure to ESG data management platforms, Power BI, carbon accounting, and sustainability technologies is advantageous.
  • Arabic language skills considered a plus.

  • GRI Certified Sustainability Professional
  • CFA ESG Certificate
  • SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential
  • IFRS Sustainability/ISSB Certification
  • LEED AP, WELL AP, or Mostadam AP credentials
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
