About the Role

Join a rapidly expanding manufacturing firm dedicated to becoming one of India's most technologically advanced manufacturers. Instead of buying costly commercial software, the company is creating its own digital infrastructure encompassing production, inventory, sales, accounts, planning, procurement, quality, and management dashboards.

This role offers a unique chance to contribute at the outset of this transformative journey, helping design the company's digital framework.

Your Mission

Unlike traditional IT support roles, your objective is to thoroughly grasp the company's operations, pinpoint areas for process enhancement, and lead the conversion of these into efficient digital systems. You will collaborate directly with Founders, senior leaders, and all departments to develop solutions that enhance productivity, accuracy, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and understand current workflows within production, stores, purchase, sales, dispatch, accounts, HR, and management areas.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend digital improvements.
Gather business requirements by coordinating with internal teams.
Work alongside software developers to transform these requirements into functional software systems.
Contribute to the development of ERP platforms, dashboards, and automation tools.
Test new software features ensuring alignment with business needs.
Train staff on newly introduced systems and tools.
Create documentation including SOPs and process manuals.
Monitor ongoing system performance and suggest enhancements.
Engage in digital transformation projects from initial concept through implementation.
Support automation efforts leveraging no-code/low-code platforms and AI technologies.
Develop management reports and dashboards.

Collaborations

You will liaise closely with founders, senior management, production teams, accounts, sales & marketing, purchase, stores, quality control, external software developers, and technology partners. This engagement offers expansive exposure across business strategy, operations, and technology domains.

Candidate Profile

We're seeking inquisitive, analytical, and driven individuals passionate about problem-solving. Prior experience is not mandatory; a proactive learning mindset and ownership attitude are highly valued.

Preferred Educational Background

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines
BCA
MCA
B.Sc. in Computer Science
BBA with concentration in Business Analytics or Information Systems
MBA graduates are also encouraged to apply, including freshers

Key Skills

Strong analytical and logical reasoning capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of business processes
Interest and aptitude in technology and digital transformation
Basic familiarity with databases and software applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Problem-solving approach with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to collaborate across various departments
Quick learner with a positive and proactive attitude

Additional Beneficial Skills (Not Mandatory)

Knowledge of SQL and Python programming
Experience with no-code/low-code development platforms such as AppSheet and FlutterFlow
Familiarity with Google Apps Script
Understanding of business intelligence tools like Power BI or Looker Studio
Exposure to ERP systems, API integrations, and AI-powered automation
Expertise in process mapping
