Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is searching for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join their well-established and innovative company located in County Cavan. This permanent, hands-on leadership position entails managing a maintenance team responsible for electrical, mechanical, and facility support tasks. The focus is on maintaining high standards in quality, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily work activities of the maintenance team.
• Plan and arrange tasks to optimize team productivity and process flow.
• Provide guidance in troubleshooting and support skill enhancement for team members.
• Maintain effective communication with other departments as required.
• Supervise workplace safety procedures, keep detailed records of shift operations, and ensure all maintenance work complies with quality and safety standards in an orderly environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a recognized qualification in Electrician training or Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting.
• Strong communication skills combined with proficiency in computer applications.
• Proven experience adhering to quality management and health and safety protocols.
• Self-driven with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines, complemented by strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Additional Information

This role operates on shifts, covering hours from 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. The Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Industrial Engineering department regarding ongoing projects, significant equipment issues, and updates on personnel or systems.
