Role overview
This opportunity is for an experienced maintenance professional to join a friendly and specialist support team at Admiralty care home in a hands-on, rewarding environment.
Work location
You will be based at Admiralty care home in Gillingham, England, United Kingdom.

What you’ll need
- At least 12 months remaining on your right to work.
- Prior experience in maintenance and gardening work.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Availability to work 32 hours each week across 4 days, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, including alternate weekends.
What the role involves
- Looking after the upkeep of the building and surrounding grounds in line with health and safety expectations.
- Carrying out and evaluating repairs such as painting, decorating, grounds work, plastering, and fixing doors and windows.
- Passing work to contractors through the head office team when it cannot be completed in-house.
- Making sure the care home remains safe for residents at all times.
- Completing and logging work in accordance with legal and regulatory obligations.
