Role Overview

Join Siemens Energy in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, as a Logistics Professional at their newly operational factory. This role focuses on developing and managing critical logistics and customs processes to ensure smooth factory operations and enhance production support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments collaborating with freight forwarders and transport providers.
• Manage inventory control of raw materials and finished products using SAP and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Design and optimize material handling, storage, and distribution logistics workflows within the manufacturing facility.
• Analyze logistics data to pinpoint areas for improving processes and reducing costs.
• Prepare and oversee all shipping and customs-related documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the main liaison with customs brokers and authorities to address and resolve documentation issues and clearance delays.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in logistics, specifically focusing on customs compliance and documentation.
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly advantageous.
• Ability to independently resolve complex logistics and customs challenges efficiently.
• Deep understanding of Saudi Arabia's customs processes and proficient use of SAP solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation capabilities, and a dedication to effective and accountable professional conduct.
