Job Overview
As a Logistics Coordinator specializing in offshore projects, you will be responsible for organizing the mobilization and demobilization of material handling equipment (MHE), ensuring seamless deployment aligned with project schedules and ADNOC standards. This role involves close coordination with drivers, site supervisors, and transport teams to maintain efficient operations while upholding safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of MHE and operators for mobilization and demobilization activities.
- Oversee on-site deployment plans to guarantee equipment availability meets project demands.
- Collaborate with operational teams including drivers and site supervisors to ensure timely execution of logistics tasks.
- Keep accurate logs of equipment usage, operational hours, and fuel consumption when required.
- Verify that all equipment deployed complies with ADNOC certification and quality standards.
- Support the tracking of certifications related to training, CICPA, PTW, and safety for both operators and machinery.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all operational documents such as third-party certifications and inspections.
- Serve as the primary communication link among end users, internal teams, and site management for effective information flow.
- Document daily operational activities and any equipment malfunction reports thoroughly.
- Generate and submit periodic reports including daily, weekly, and ad-hoc operational status and compliance updates.
- Strictly follow ADNOC’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies along with company safety protocols.
- Report any incidents, unsafe environments, or equipment issues immediately.
- Engage actively in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to foster a safe work culture.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in offshore operational logistics.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with equipment such as cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, and trailers; understanding of equipment certification processes and site requirements.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Core Competencies: Strong communication and organizational skills, adept time management, quick decision-making, attention to detail, ability to multitask in demanding environments, and teamwork with a proactive professional attitude.
