Role Overview
The Local Content Lead will direct initiatives focused on enhancing local content and supplier localization programs, aligned under the Strategic Supply Chain Manager. The role aims to increase In-Kingdom Total Value Added (IKTVA), fortify local supply networks, and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia’s localization standards.
Primary Duties
- Implement strategies to boost IKTVA performance and create national value.
- Identify, develop, and qualify local suppliers to reinforce the supply chain ecosystem.
- Maintain full compliance with local content regulations and meet all reporting obligations.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to integrate local content mandates, maximizing local sourcing.
- Engage with both internal stakeholders and external partners to support and advance localization efforts.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to local content, offering actionable insights for improvements.
- Assess and manage vendor performance to assure quality, reliability, and compliance with standards.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Brings 8 to 10 years of advancing experience within supply chain, procurement, or localization roles emphasizing IKTVA/local content programs, supplier development, and regulatory compliance.
- Holds or is encouraged to obtain professional certifications such as CIPS to strengthen qualifications.
