Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable cleaners to join our team based in Alexandra, Otago. This part-time role suits individuals who thrive in dynamic settings, possess keen attention to detail, and are passionate about maintaining pristine and welcoming environments for clients and visitors.
Working Hours and Pay
This position offers shifts Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM with a competitive hourly wage of $28.95.
Main Duties
- Carry out comprehensive general cleaning tasks to exemplary standards.
- Perform spot cleaning on furniture and fixtures.
- Sweep and mop floors effectively.
- Sanitize toilets and related facilities.
- Collect and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
- Clean internal and external glass surfaces.
- Dust all hard surfaces thoroughly.
Candidate Profile
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Holder of a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate within a team.
- Capable of following directions and working independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Reliable and punctual presence at work.
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work various hours and public holidays when necessary.
- Experience using floor care machinery such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is advantageous.
- Must be 18 years or older in compliance with company health and safety policies.
- Proficiency in English for communication, training, and safety instructions is required.
- Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand is mandatory.
