Linen Runner

Role Overview

We seek a reliable and well-organized Linen Runner to join our team. This position entails delivering clean linens and uniforms to various designated areas, collecting used linens, maintaining linen stock, and ensuring sufficient supply to support the workflow smoothly each day. Physical endurance, keen attention to detail, and dedication to high-quality service are essential for success in this role.

Key Duties

• Transport clean towels, linens, uniforms, and other laundry items to specified departments or guest locations.
• Retrieve soiled linens and securely convey them to the laundry area.
• Monitor and maintain adequate linen stock levels in storage and designated areas.
• Arrange and restock linen closets following set protocols.
• Inspect linens for damage or wear and notify management about replacements needed.
• Keep accurate records of linen distribution and inventory control.
• Adhere to infection control, hygiene, and safety guidelines consistently.
• Support laundry staff in sorting, folding, or other duties during busy times.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of carts, storage, and work environments.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, shortages, or operational issues to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, laundry or related support roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to perform independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
