Role Overview

As a Learning Experience Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing our learning systems and content. Reporting to the Manager of Learning Experience, this role blends operational discipline with innovative approaches to create and maintain quality learning programs that empower our employees' professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refresh learning materials utilizing outlines and inputs from leadership and subject matter experts across the company.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Yes Energy’s products and the wider energy sector to ensure accurate and relevant course content.
• Drive learning engagement initiatives to boost participation and visibility of L&D offerings throughout the organization.
• Manage learning data and dashboards, delivering concise reports that measure program effectiveness and guide future strategies.
• Administer the LMS by overseeing enrollments, course completions, assignments, and addressing system-related queries.
• Conduct routine audits of existing training content to ensure accuracy, coherence, and alignment with company standards.
• Propose and implement innovative ideas to enhance learning accessibility, engagement, and program growth potential.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Education, Communications, Business, Energy, Environmental Science, or related disciplines.
• Relevant professional or practical experience in instructional design, education, or content development, including applicable non-traditional backgrounds.
• Excellent written communication tailored to varied audiences such as new employees, experts, and senior leaders.
• Aptitude for mastering new software applications; experience with LMS or tools like Articulate or Absorb is advantageous.
• Proficient with Google Suite tools.
• A natural curiosity about the energy sector or SaaS products and comfort in asking clarifying questions.
• Strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines precisely, and ensure accuracy across tasks.

• Translating expert knowledge into clear, accessible educational content delivered to appropriate users.
• Creating, formatting and publishing digital learning materials with a keen eye on clarity and quality.
• Competence in spreadsheet software such as Excel and Google Sheets for tracking, reporting, and program management.
• Proactive ownership of tasks with balanced prioritization and problem anticipation skills.
• Effective collaboration skills for partnering with various departments to streamline cross-functional initiatives.
• A systemic understanding of LMS and related components to make integrated decisions.
• Data analysis skills to interpret engagement and completion metrics for strategic adjustments.
• A customer service mindset to support colleagues and facilitate problem-solving efficiently.

Work Conditions and Compensation

• Salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience.
• Position is full-time and hybrid, based in Boston, MA or Boulder, CO.
• Requires up to 10% travel.
• Reports to the Manager of Learning Experience.
