Role Overview
This role owns the full design coordination lifecycle for the project. The person hired will keep integrated planning on track across master planning, architecture, structural, MEP and related disciplines so that project timelines are met and design output stays aligned to execution needs.
In addition to coordinating internal centres of excellence, consultants, the PMC and the GC, the role focuses on ensuring that IFC and GFC drawings are issued on time, drawing changes are tracked digitally, and any exceptions or delays are escalated clearly. A key part of the job is safeguarding the approved product brief, maintaining approvals readiness, and preventing disruption to construction through strong design governance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously update the integrated design schedule covering master planning, architecture, structural, MEP, infrastructure, landscape and interiors.
- Work with COEs, consultants, PMC and GC teams to close inputs, comments and interface dependencies within agreed timelines.
- Track consultant appointment milestones, scope readiness and committed design deliverables.
- Ensure the design process stays aligned with the approved product strategy, design brief and stage-gate review requirements.
- Monitor the timely release of IFC/GFC drawings, RFI logs and pending action items.
- Promote use of Autodesk Construction Cloud or a similar platform for transmittals, revisions and drawing traceability.
- Maintain exception logs and escalation records for delays, missing inputs and unresolved decisions.
- Prepare and circulate weekly design MIS covering milestones, ageing items, risks and decisions needed from leadership.
Requirements
- B.Arch in Architecture is required.
- MBA or PGDM from a reputed institute is preferred.
- Prior exposure to real estate or infrastructure-led businesses is preferred.
- Strong capability in coordinating multiple design streams and managing dependencies.
- Working knowledge of digital drawing control, revision tracking and document governance tools.
- Ability to manage escalations, maintain logs and support leadership reporting.
