Laundry Worker

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker for a long-term care setting in Crestview, Florida. In this role, you will help ensure that linens and garments are clean, ready to use, and consistently available for residents and staff. Responsibilities

• Gather, separate, wash, dry, press/fold, and hand out linens and personal clothing.
• Use laundry equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Keep track of laundry-related work and let the supervisor know about equipment problems, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.
• Follow infection prevention rules and universal precautions to keep the environment sanitary.
• Communicate courteously with residents, staff, and visitors while delivering strong service.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in laundry work is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate well with building occupants, administrators, and HCSG leadership while handling daily duties.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Physical capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds, as well as stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Comfort working around cleaning chemicals and related products.
• Ability to follow spoken and written directions and perform repetitive routine work each day.
• Must live within the service area.
