Role overview
ZECH Bau SE is looking to bring in a Kalkulator (w/m/d) as soon as possible to support its team in Mainz. The role focuses on preparing cost estimates and bids for complex building projects, with an emphasis on shell construction and turnkey delivery.
What you will do
- Create pricing and calculation proposals for projects in shell and turnkey construction.
- Work out production costs and process bills of quantities as well as functionally tendered projects.
- Develop technical solutions, alternative proposals, and value-added options.
- Review and resolve technical questions during the bidding stage.
- Ensure that all tender documents are complete and ready for submission.
Your profile
The company is looking for someone with a degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a similar field, or alternatively completed vocational training in the construction sector. Several years of experience in shell and turnkey construction, as well as in bidding and cost estimation, is preferred. Candidates without prior estimating experience are also welcome if they have a strong interest in building expertise in this area. A solid technical understanding, commercial thinking, and strong negotiation ability are important. Confident use of billing and estimating tools such as RIB iTWO is expected. Team spirit, drive, and an independent, committed way of working round out the profile.
