Role Overview
We seek a Junior Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Team and play a vital part in enhancing product quality, innovation, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support laboratory research, product development, and testing activities
- Conduct quality control assessments on production batches
- Prepare technical reports, analyze data, and assist with projects
- Collaborate on formulation refinements and improve manufacturing processes
- Perform laboratory testing and analyze both products and raw materials
- Work closely alongside the Laboratory Manager, Technical Team, and Operations Departments
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within a Lean 5S framework
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Science qualification such as a Certificate or Diploma
- Exhibit a strong interest in laboratory procedures, manufacturing, and product development
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively and work well within a team environment
- Show a proactive, positive attitude with eagerness to learn
- Work independently and adapt in a fast-paced team setting
- Experience in the paint industry is beneficial but not mandatory; full training provided
