About the role
This remote opportunity in Australia is aimed at someone beginning their IT career and looking to build practical exposure in network engineering or systems administration. In this position, you will contribute to the upkeep of network and system infrastructure while learning in a supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Support the installation of hardware and the setup of network equipment.
- Help diagnose and resolve connectivity problems and other system-related issues.
- Keep IT asset records and configuration details organised and up to date.
- Step in to assist the helpdesk team whenever backup support is needed.
Requirements
- A Certificate or Diploma in IT, Networking, or a closely related discipline.
- Working knowledge of networking basics.
- Good analytical ability and a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
- Capability to work on your own as well as contribute effectively within a team.
