Junior Graphic Designer

About the Role

Based in Kew, Melbourne, this position offers a hybrid working setup. Join the Marketing team as a Junior Graphic Designer, collaborating closely with the Graphic Design Lead and fellow designers to craft visually compelling digital and print materials for the BONDS apparel range. This opportunity allows you to develop your creative expertise by working on renowned national brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging visuals for digital and print channels such as social media, websites, email campaigns, retail promotions, packaging, and in-store communication.
• Assist in the creative process from initial concepts through to final artwork and production.
• Work jointly with Marketing, Digital, Product, and Visual Merchandising teams to deliver polished creative campaigns.
• Ensure all artwork complies with brand guidelines and maintains consistency across various brands and platforms.
• Prepare final files for both print and digital outputs, meeting deadlines and quality requirements.
• Develop different creative assets including presentations, campaign materials, and internal communications.
• Offer innovative ideas, address creative challenges, and stay informed about current design trends and industry best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a qualification in Graphic Design or a related field, with some commercial design experience or a well-developed creative portfolio.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite products, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong grasp of design fundamentals applicable to both digital and print media.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to handle multiple projects efficiently in a busy work setting.
• A team player with excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Familiarity with Figma, After Effects, or motion graphics is a plus but not mandatory.
