Role Overview

Category management at Mister Spex blends product expertise, creativity, and commercial insight. As a Junior Category Manager, you will assist the Category Management team in curating our product range that includes private labels, collaborations, and boutique collections. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop hands-on experience with product development, partner coordination, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in planning and executing product launches across private labels, collaborations, and boutique collections.
• Manage timelines, monitor progress, and facilitate effective communication among design, marketing, and external partners.
• Support daily interactions with suppliers and partners to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality benchmarks.
• Evaluate sales data, product performance indicators, and customer feedback to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform assortment planning and product strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on campaign planning and content generation.

Candidate Profile

• Some prior practical experience in category management, buying, merchandising, consulting, or related fields.
• Strong analytical abilities with comfort in handling data; proficiency in Excel is essential, knowledge of KPIs is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Clear and structured communication skills with any initial exposure to working with stakeholders or external partners.
• An interest in fashion, retail, or consumer goods; eyewear experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• A proactive mindset with enthusiasm to learn, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
